Jul 28, 2017 The land of Holodrum is slowly withering. Onox, the General of Darkness, has imprisoned the Oracle of Seasons and is draining the very life out of the land. With the seasons in tumult and the forces of evil running rampant, the world looks for a hero and finds Link. His quest won’t be easy –. Seasons begins as the Triforce calls out to Link from within Hyrule Castle. Link approaches it, and is transported to a dark forest where he encounters a traveling group led by a dancer named Din. After Din welcomes Link to Holodrum, the sky becomes covered in black clouds. A voice from the clouds calls Din the Oracle of Seasons and refers to himself as Onox, General of Darkness.
Nintendo first released the Game Boy Color in 1998. The biggest update of the Game Boy was that it now featured a color screen rather than the monochrome screen and it was slightly larger than Game Boy Pocket, its predecessor. Its custom 8-bit processor made by Sharp and was part of the fifth generation of home gaming consoles.
Some might argue there wasn't much difference between the Game Boy and the Game Boy Color, as it is similar in design. Unlike the handheld consoles of today, the Game Boy Color was a vertical portrait console rather than a horizontal wide-screen format like its successor, the Nintendo DS.
The Game Boy Color did have three times as much memory as the original Game Boy and it supported 32,768 bits of color. The console was originally created by Nintendo in response to criticism from game developers about Nintendo's lack of a more advanced platform. Enter the Game Boy Color, which soon became widely popular, along with its number one hit game, Pokemon Gold and Silver.
In 1997, Sega discontinued the Game Gear so when the Game Boy Color debuted, at the time, the only competition was with the original Game Boy until the release of Neo Geo Pocket in 1999.
Out of the competing consoles in its market, Game Boy Color came out on top. Combined, the Game Boy and Game Boy Color sold 118 units worldwide, making it the 3rd best-selling console of that time. It was discontinued, however, in 2003 after the release of it's successor the Game Boy Advance SP.

Not quite as good as oracle of ages, but very near it! Oracle of Seasons is definitely one of the best Zelda games made for the gameboy series!
The storyline is pretty good for a Zelda game, and the way that Oracle of Ages and Seasons are intertwined is an added bonus to gameplay, adding so much more depth to the story and gameplay.
The game is quite similar to the previous Zelda game, Link's Awakening, only much more enhanced and improved.
The color is awesome in this game, as well as the graphics. Overall, this was a very enjoyable game.
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is a unique Zelda game surrounding the land of Holodrum. You as Link must rescue Din the Oracle of Seasons from Onox the general of darkness, and restore balance to the seasons by battling monsters through challenging dungeons and defeating bosses using weapons acquired.

It has a few benefits with a couple cheats, the use of max and infite health can be helpful for those not use to the game. This game still has its playability and replayability with cheats. This game gets better if linked with Ages. Over all a great game that can be played with cheats for an added fun not a huge change but some.
